چکیده

Neutrophils contribute to the pathophysiology of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a chronic debilitating inflammatory skin disease, yet their exact role remains be fully defined. Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), major regulator neutrophil development and survival, can blocked by novel, human anti-G-CSF receptor (G-CSFR) monoclonal antibody CSL324. We investigated activation migration neutrophils in HS impact blocking G-CSFR with Neutrophil numbers were significantly higher lesions compared biopsies from healthy donors (HD)(p<0.0001). In peripheral blood samples, mean counts patients than HD. pathways increased demonstrated an phenotype, CXCR1 on surface HS. G-CSF was key driver transcriptomic changes elevated serum HD (p=0.013). Administration CSL324 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study CSL324_1001 inhibited G-CSF-induced similar transcriptional those observed cohort, as highlighted expression genes related migratory capacity. Our data suggests that are due increase G-CSF-driven migration. counteracted reducing cell levels chemokine receptors.

Hidradenitis suppurativa.

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic, relapsing, inflammatory disease process that primarily involves the axilla and/or inguinal region and does not manifest itself until after puberty. Typically, the process begins as a local occlusive disease of a sweat gland; secondary bacterial infection then occurs. The early stages of hidradenitis suppurativa are usually managed by the dermatologist. Onc...

Hidradenitis suppurativa

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic disease characterized by recurrent, painful, deep-seated, rounded nodules and abscesses of apocrine gland-bearing skin. Subsequent suppuration, sinus tracts and hypertrophic scarring are its main features. Onset is usually after puberty, although it is most common during the third decade and may persist in old age. The disease tends to be chronic and may de...

Hidradenitis suppurativa: a treatment challenge.

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic, recurrent, debilitating disease that presents with painful, inflamed lesions in the apocrine-gland-bearing areas of the body, most commonly the axillary, inguinal, and anogenital areas. Etiology traditionally has been attributed to occlusion of the apocrine duct by a keratinous plug; however, defects of the follicular epithelium also have been noted. Contr...
